The things of this world may satisfy us for a moment, but God’s purpose gives us lasting fulfillment. Every person lives using the physical blessings God created, but if we choose to live in our own way away from God, we will ultimately have no true joy or gladness. Because people are often disconnected from God, they tend to rely on their humanistic thoughts, find comfort in each other, and adore creation while completely forgetting the Creator. However, no matter how much we do what we want in the physical world, it only leads to agony and emptiness because we lack the true hope of our spirit and soul. Regardless of our physical circumstances, a life away from God is simply a life in the wilderness.
In contrast, we will live a truly satisfied life when God’s will is fulfilled through us. God’s ultimate purpose for creating humans is for us to live as His counterpart, serving and loving Him. In fact, the greatest glory we can ever give is to fulfill the exact purpose for which God created heaven, earth, and human beings in this specific time period. When we unite with the Trinity and rigorously take action according to the Lord’s Will, we step off the path of death and boldly walk the successful path of life
A human’s 100-year life on earth is merely an instant—not even a second when compared to God’s eternal time. Therefore, we must not waste our brief opportunity chasing the fleeting satisfaction of this world. We must deliberately prioritize spiritual opportunities so that we are not caught up in our own temporary things when the time calls. By actively cutting off the unnecessary branches of unrighteousness and vigorously acting upon God’s Word, we ensure our spirits will live forever in Heaven, having achieved the ultimate, eternal satisfaction of fulfilling His Will.
