Become One with God through Prayer

Insights from Members

When we pray, we do more than just speak words; we become one with God and achieve victory in our daily lives. Prayer is the vital daily sacrifice that keeps us connected to the Holy Trinity. Just as people living together drift apart if they do not interact daily, we become distant from God if this daily communication ceases. By earnestly seeking God and the Holy Spirit every single day, we unite our ever-changing minds with His perfect thoughts, which allows us to take action to the end without wavering.

To truly start your week together with God, we must anchor our prayers in two powerful actions: thanksgiving and repentance. Thanksgiving is one of the secret methods to prosper; we must not offer thanks casually like a greeting, but strive to live as experts in thanksgiving. Paired with this gratitude is the absolute need to repent every day for both big and small sins, washing our spirits clean just as we wash the dirt from our physical bodies daily. When we pray with deep sincerity and pair it with actions of repentance, we cut off the unnecessary branches of unrighteousness, allowing God to cultivate us into a masterpiece of faith.

This Sunday, remember God’s words and let them actively guide you. Keeping the Sabbath sacred is a major heavenly law, a time to listen to the Word and give glory to God so we are equipped for the days ahead. As determined believers, let us not rely on our own humanistic thoughts, but instead pray and report to God in detail so that He can take action in our lives. Through this life of profound, daily prayer, we confidently secure our victory and firmly walk the path of life alongside the Almighty.
